Dear Year 6 students,
You have made it! After 7 years you are now top of the school and it is that time to start looking at where you be going next September. I am sure that your primary school experience has flown by and it doesn’t seem that long ago that you were going in on your first day, about 2 feet tall in Reception.
Whilst I don’t remember my first day at Primary School, I do remember my last day in Year 6 as well as my first day in Year 7. I went to a secondary school on my own, not knowing anyone and I remember what it felt like during the summer, the night before and walking through the gates on the first day even though that was a long long time ago and I am now taller (very much so) and uglier (also very much so) than then!
We want to make that step from primary to secondary school as smooth as possible for you which starts with our Open Evening on Monday 18th September from 6pm – 8pm and Open Mornings on the 21st, 25th, 28th September and 2nd, 4th October from 9am – 10:30am. This is an opportunity to come and see the school live in action with your Mum’s and/or Dad’s or your Carers. You will have the opportunity to meet lots of teachers (and realise they are just like your lovely primary school teachers and not scary at all) as well as current students at the school.
Below you will see links for your parents/carers to book seats to hear the Headteacher and myself share more information about the school as well as book on to one of our open mornings. Please ask the adults in your world to book the number of seats to the number of those attending for one of the Headteacher talks which are at 6.30, 7.00 or 7.30 (you only need to come to one).
I have also provided a video below to share a little bit about the exciting building project taking place at the moment as well parking arrangements. Please note that due to building work parking at school will be very limited. If you require disabled parking please contact office@crispins.co.uk where someone will be able to assist you.
If you scroll to the bottom of the page you can have a sneak peak of our school.
We really look forward to seeing you on the 18th at 6:00pm. In the meantime, should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact our lovely reception team on 01189781144 or on email office@crispins.co.uk
