National Apprenticeship Scheme
The CAD Centre UK is a registered Apprenticeships provider and we work with the National Apprenticeship Service to help employers source apprentices for the following roles (please click on the links below for a full description of the courses on our website):
Apprenticeships are work-based training programmes designed around the needs of employers, which lead to nationally recognised qualifications for the apprentice.
To be eligible for an Apprenticeship the individual must:
- Be aged under 24
- Be employed for at least 30 hours a week on a fixed 12 month apprenticeship contract
- Be paid at least the National Apprenticeship Minimum Wage, currently £2.73/hour
The CAD Centre will help you source apprentices by advertising your role on the National Apprenticeships Service website and send you suitable applicants. There is no obligation on your part until you decide to make a formal offer of employment. If you have not employed an apprentice in the past 12 months, you may be eligible for a wage grant of £1500. The grant is available to any employer who has not employed an apprentice within the last 12 months and employs less than 50 people.
