| Comments: | Former Headboy. Had serious motorbike crash outside school one parents' evening - trapped under a double decker bus for an hour. I remember Mr. Spindler nursing me until I was taken to hospital. Enjoyed school, went on to teach for 29 years (17 as a headmaster) before getting tired of managing constant change and never ending paperwork. Left teaching in 2001 and did some consultancy work for LEAs before retiring early from education. I now only work for a few months a year as a Night Supervisor for P&O on the liner Ocean Village. |
