| Comments: | Hey, I was just looking to see if Mrs J was still at the school but distracted by this bit. I hope she is cos she is my reference on my CV, if not then ill be stuck on the dole forever. What teachers want that as the fate of an ex pupil, let alone a star(?) ex pupil like me..... |

Father was in the army based in Arbourfield. I went to St. Crispins, or St. Dustbin's as we used to call it, for about two years. Kept in touch with a couple of friend's for a while after leaving. Names I remember....William (Bill) Clarke, Mick Brinkies, Marina Bird (loved that girl but I don't think she knew I existed.), Peanut (Tech. drawing teacher). Am going to try to get to the anniversary celebrations in July, hope to see someone there I used to know. |

I joined St Crispins the day it opened, with my brother Russell. I remember the day well. We were all in the main hall being allocated our classrooms and teachers. When all was done only my brother and myself were left. But it was soon sorted out. I enjoyed 3 good happy years there. I was a Prefect. I stayed on until I was 16yrs old doing a Cookery Course and still have the Cookery Book I was presented with at prize- giving day just before I left. My course was taken by Miss Blackmore & Miss Gardner. I remember helping create the mural of St Crispin- and the smelly glue! I was always involved in the school productions produced by Miss Gilbert. One was "Tobias and the Angel" I did the sound effects and music. I was also in the choir taken by Mr Bevan and we sang on the radio. Rosalind & Christopher Hussey were also in them. I married their cousin Tony and we have been married 43 yrs this year. We have one boy 39, 2 daughters one 30 and one 29. We have 7 grandchildren. My sister Gillian was also at the school in a later year. I shall not be able to attend the reunion, but would be glad to hear from anyone who remembers me Jenny Gough |
